Load balanced xDSL lines balance traffic among multiple xDSL lines usually used to increase internet access speed and provide redundancy and fault tolerance of internet links.

Such solutions are often a low cost alternative to leased lines or where extra resilience is required. 500 can provision these services where appropriate.

Load balancing is another feature of 500 FastPipe. 500 FastPipe can aggregate multiple lines, in turn then distributing traffic efficiently, improving traffic flow and reducing bottlenecks. Should a single line fail, the 500 FastPipe will stop sending traffic down the affected line and will continue to use the remaining lines. This is a benefit of its failover feature.
